In addition to the highly anticipated two new 5-star characters, several 5-star and 4-star characters will rerun in two stages, as illustrated below.

HSR 3.2 Banner New Characters

Version 3.2 brings two brand-new 5-star characters—"Castorice" and "Anaxa"! 

What are your expectations for them? Before pulling, let’s take a quick look at their backgrounds, roles, and skill mechanics. With some early planning, you might just optimize your resources and unleash their full potential from day one!

Castorice

Castorice is a 5-star limited Quantum Remembrance character debuting in Version 3.2. She trades HP for high-damage output and can summon the memosprite "Netherwing" to assist in battle. Her kit revolves around HP consumption, AoE attacks, and resistance debuffs, making her a unique damage dealer.

Role & Playstyle:

High-Burst DPS – Sacrifices HP to unleash powerful AoE damage.

Summoner Unit – Summon the memosprite "Netherwing" for additional attacks and battlefield control.

Resistance Shredder – Ultimate lowers all-type RES of enemies, boosting team-wide damage.

Castorice’s gameplay revolves around HP management. Both her Skill and Enhanced Skill consume the entire team’s HP, making it crucial to pair her with high-sustain or shielding characters. 

Additionally, she can summon the memosprite "Netherwing", providing extra damage and resistance debuffs, making her a top-tier pick for speedruns, boss fights, and high-difficulty content.

Anaxa

Anaxa is a 5-Star Wind Erudition character, known for his sharp words and precise analysis. He can expose enemy Weaknesses, and even if an enemy has none, he can forcefully "add" one, leaving them with nowhere to hide. His combat style mirrors his personality—hitting straight to the core and keeping enemies in a weakened state.

Role & Playstyle:

Wind DPS – Continuously applies new Weaknesses to enemies and enhances his damage output through special states.

Erudition (AoE Damage) – Excels at applying effects to multiple targets, making him great for mob clearing.

Break & Debuff Support – Uses "Qualitative Disclosure" state and "Sublimation" state to lower enemy resistance and accelerate Weakness Break.

 From the preview, Anaxa and Black Swan appear to be an ideal duo, both excelling at AoE damage and making them highly effective for clearing waves of enemies. Pairing them with energy regeneration supports or strong Break-effect characters can further enhance the team's overall combat efficiency.

Anaxa’s combat style feels like a manifestation of verbal attacks, as he constantly exposes enemy "Weaknesses," making them extremely fragile in battle. His kit provides excellent Toughness reduction and Weakness Break, making him particularly valuable in fights against diverse elemental enemies. His Ultimate instantly maxes out Weakness stacks, allowing the entire team to capitalize on faster Break effects for maximum damage output.

With the arrival of Castorice and Anaxa, their signature Light Cones—"Make Farewells More Beautiful" and "Life Should Be Cast to Flames"—have also been revealed!

Make Farewells More Beautiful

• HP Boost: +30% Max HP.

• "Death Flower" Buff: When HP is lost, ignore 30% of the target's DEF for 2 turns.

• Action Speed: Memosprite's disappearance advances the wearer's action by 12%, resets with Ultimate.

This Light Cone enhances both survivability and damage potential by increasing HP and providing DEF penetration, while also boosting action speed when the Memosprite is gone. It’s particularly useful for optimizing Castorice’s playstyle, which revolves around managing HP and maximizing damage output.

Life Should Be Cast to Flames

• Fast Energy Regen: Gains 10 Energy at turn start.

• Huge DMG Boost: +60% DMG against implanted Weakness.

• DEF Reduction: Lowers enemy DEF by 12% for 2 turns (non-stackable).

"Life Should Be Cast to Flames" is a powerful Light Cone that provides Energy regeneration, DMG boost, and DEF reduction, greatly enhancing Anaxa’s combat performance. 

It not only speeds up his Ultimate rotation but also significantly boosts his burst damage against Weakness-exposed enemies. At the same time, it lowers enemy DEF, creating a better damage environment for the team. If you're planning to build Anaxa, this Light Cone is undoubtedly his best-in-slot choice.

HSR 3.2 Light Cone in New Event

The Great Cosmic Enterprise: New 4-Star Light Cone for The Erudition

This Light Cone is exclusive to The Erudition Path, and its effects only apply to characters of this Path. The effects are as follows:

• ATK Boost: Increases the wearer’s ATK by 8%.

• Scaling DMG Bonus: Gains up to 28% extra DMG based on the number of different Weakness Types on the enemy (4% per type, max 7 types).

• Ideal for Multi-Weakness Battles: Excels in fights against enemies with multiple Weakness Types.

How to get: In the version event "Star Rail ☆ WORLD", players will experience simulation management gameplay and participate in a server-wide celebration. By completing event tasks, players will be able to obtain the 4-star Erudition Path Light Cone "The Great Cosmic Enterprise" and also enjoy a special reward featuring a photo of Pom-Pom and Owlbert together.
